celebration!

today we celebrated the gift God has given us in our home!
we are hugely blessed with a home that is absolutely perfect for us.
while our house isn't fancy, it is truly everything that we could hope for.
our bedrooms close together, an open living room/kit layout, an office for gow, a guest bedroom and then this glorious huge space in the basement for the kids to swing, run, have a ton of lil houses/baby beds, tents and a place that is soo easy to host parties.  Not to mention our thanksgiving to God that He enables us to make our monthly mortgage payments faithfully.
we are thankful.
and thankful to our folks that have helped make our home possible.
so we headed out to celebrate at the Rain Forest Cafe!

our kiddos must be just the right age.... cuz we FULLY enjoyed the Rain Forest Cafe.  From the storm that rolls thru every 20 minutes to the roaring lions and swinging monkeys- all three kiddos were super entertained.  we sat by the two elephants!  and at a table where we could see the rainbow!   yes, i loved the restaurant too- can you tell?  ;)  i had three favorite parts... 1) the starry night in the middle where you could see shooting stars and 2) our waitress who TOTALLY got what it's like to have three kiddos 4 and under at a restaurant. ;)  3) a chance to give our kiddos this kind of experience... it was just fun.

and another special treat from grandma and grandpa... the carousel!!!!

ahh - we had such a great day.
thank you Lord for the gift of our home!  warm, cozy and such a great fit for us and our kiddos.

mom directing Emma and Tim in a song...
Daisy's 3K (preschool) program.  she was a sheppard with a heart tatoo on her arm. ;)
we were super proud of her... she learned a ton of songs and verses and did a great job on stage.
 snacks afterward.....
Ems, Tims, Fossy and H all hanging out after Daisy's program
H- totally falling asleep with his mouth PACKED full of cheerios.

Gow and I on a hot date to our church's staff Christmas party.
AND SNOW!!! BEAUTIFUL, fluffy, wonderful, just -in -time- for Christmas SNOW!
It snowed on Thursday, about 5 inches... Sally's 4K program was cancelled and then the snow has stayed as it has been about 25 degrees.  it's perfect for sledding and just staying absolutely beautiful.

Merry Christmas time to y'all tonight.
Praise God for our heaters and toasty, comfortable homes that allows us to really love the snow!

G'night all

happy 1st bday H-a-nator!

 holy smokes henry is ONE!
seriously- how did that happen!?  i was looking at him... he has more than doubled in length, has tripled in weight and is amazing at all that he communicates and comprehends.

ah. little man.  happy first bday to you!

a birthday kiss from the big sis
generally just a happy lil man.  especially when he is eating!
ha ha... another "same" look with dad.
daisy showing henry how his new car works.
 happy!  with fossy!
reading a bday card before breakfast
love this!  this is a bow tie from buela that gow wore as a kiddo.  I am working on getting some pix IN the shirt and tie.  stay tuned.
big boy facing foward in his car seat!  yeah!  except he has proceeded to cry nearly the entire time in the seat now... i am wondering if he is afraid that daisy and sally are gone now as they are behind him?  not sure what's going on here.  but i warned him that we will turn him back around if he doesn't start pulling it together. ;)

no ooey-gooey chocolate chip cookie for henry on his birthday... just straight cheerios.  his tummy is still not right from the flu....
cousin sarah shares the same bday as henry.  she is letting him try to blow out the last candle!

can't believe he is one.
gow was just saying today how fun it is to watch him.  because you can see him comprehend things.
he is not walking on his own yet.
crawling, cruising, eating literallly EVERYthing in site (the only the he doesnt like to eat is snow)
he just starting squeeking.  it's hysterical.  and goes high pitch, low pitch, high pitch, low to tell us that he needs more food on his tray.

ok- love to y'all! and happy bday to our one year old!
