today all i am going to type is that i want to go swimming in a pool of nice cool creamy chocolate milk. =)

we've had a full weekend and we probably overdid it. the girls and i declared today a sick day after sally tossed her cookies for auntie jane last night and then a few more times in her bed during the night. daisy's not right either... and i'm messed up- can't tell if it is a prego - super- tired thing or something else.
gow and neal laid the tile in the laundry room and guest bathroom this morning! PRAISE GOD - to have soon have laundry back and to have facilities for our company... cousins coming on Friday.

so gow has been working HARD... both with work and worship but also with working on the house and taking care of us girls. God be blessing him!

sally and daisy and i hung out with strawberry shortcake, the 321 penguins, tinkerbell, dora AND beauty and the beast.... we are all TVed out. =) we spent the last hour of the day playing "moon dough" on the deck for some fresh air. =)

now the girls are playing nap time on the office floor while i type.

off to bed!

i know that it has been awhile- things are FULL in the gowan home.... and i am pregnant. =)

a quick run down..

-work is still super inconsistent, but we are thankful for the work when it comes.

- gow is working like a madman to fix the bathroom downstairs for laundry and for company purposes

- our YG (youth group) kick off BBQ is tonight... lots of prep work on that.

- the girls and i went to a SWEET petting zoo with our pals Sarah, Ela and Hannah yesterday- it was almost as fun as Disneyland. =)

- sally is at a sleep over with her cousin kristi (5) at auntie jane's.... super fun. daisy got to tag along for a bit yesterday as it was super hard to be left behind and today is doing her best to play with all of sally's toys as fast as she can before sally comes home. =)

- crv - not sold.

- accord- not running.

- great doc check up for me- NO placenta previa with this lil guy in my belly.

and as a sign of..... sally asked me yesterday, "mommy, is "stomach" the spanish word for "tummy"? =)

dk is making sentences all over the place and something super funny... she wakes up before all of us and will just play quietly all over the upstairs until one of us get up. this morning i heard her pick up my car keys and thought... hmmm, yes, she needs some supervision. =) yesterday she was wearing her shoes by the time she came and asked me for a cup of milk.

i am off to cut a watermelon and do final prep for the YG bbq!

the blessed pool and lake - and our sweet Daisy Kate

God certainly knew what He was doing when He created lakes, oceans, rivers and even giving men the brillant idea of making a swim pool! =)

I am pretty sure that me and my house hold would have had "chronic crabbysindrome" for the past summers of being prego - had we not been sooo utterly blessed with refreshing water!

Here are some pix of Ela and Sally's last day of swim lessons.... they both truly learned alot, our time at the beach was great to get the girls used to swimming in lake (not just pool) and daisy and i soaked up our sun, sand and splash time as well. A huge thank you to the Augs as swim lessons were a birthday gift to Sal.

today we are praying that the CRV will sell.
we have another person interested.... God please - help this thing to go thru.

gow tried the accord yesterday, it started right up. so he was gonna take it to work today.
this morning. nothing.
so we need to begin thinking about what/how we are going to find a 2nd RELIABLE car.
please pray for wisdom for us on that.



i think tonight will be fairly low key... i know gow is tired out.



tomorrow is Daisy's Birthday Party!!! sponsored by the letter "D" and the number "2"

We will have doughnuts, dancing, dora, play "duck duck daisy" and she will be DOS! =)

kerhlis, the pool, our guest bathroom and life

james, silvy, parker and paxton were just in town.
talk about a total blessing.

it was super fun to hang out, catch up, see our crazy kiddos play together and just be blessed by having some similar parenting styles/ and even morals for our home. God is good to bless us with long time buddies that love Him and care about staying in touch. thanks for making the time y'all!

gow has had work all week- and is currently in the basement hoping to install the base of our new shower for the guest bedrooms with dad. progress! thank you dad for your help this week!

we are gonna try and get in as much pool time as possible in the next month... it is heated and wonderful! and know that fall is right around the corner.

i think we are all a bit wiped out... will plan a evening at home tonight with nothing going on..... lots of outdoors, swimming and company.... i think we will just slow down tonight and rest.

i am not much for deep thoughts these days... we are more in the live today as best we can mindset... being deligent, loving and thankful. more depth later on. =)
